Thu, September 23: Continue working on webquest. You should:

have your inspiration picture selected by the end of day

Fri, September 24: Continue working on webquest. You should:

select the basic details of your characters, using your worksheet.

use search engines to start reading first-hand accounts of D-Day.

Tue, September 28: You should have:

started your draft and by end of day be well on your way with your narrative.

bullet

Revise and correct draft as necessary.

bullet

Continue researching and completing your worksheet.

Wed, September 29: Continue working, at end of class, turn in your draft with cover sheet and your completed worksheet. Remember, spelling counts!

During rest of week, your draft will be returned to you with comments and suggested revisions and corrections. Work on your own to make revisions.

Tue, October 5: Final draft is due.

NOTE: About computer usage -- you will be using your laptops in class to work on this project. You can work cooperatively with other students to search the web. Please share the information on your laptop with those who do not have one. You must work quietly. Any use of computers for anything other than D-Day research will result in laptop being confiscated.

You can complete this assignment without a laptop ... research can be done in the media center on their computers or using the book resources.
