Tom McNamara Pins

Comics artist Tom MacNamara was among several cartoon artists who created artwork for cigarette pins. These humorous cigarette pins were premiums given away with packs of cigarettes in the 1910s through the 1930s.

All these cigarette premiums were of celluloid. They had cardboard inserts in the back with the name of the cigarette company. Today, often the cardboard insert and the pin insert are missing.
